Dolphins Team Shaping Up To Be Bruising Bunch

Last year, on Monday Night Football, the Dolphins literally beat up their rival, the New York Jets.

This year looks to be no different. Already led behind one of the most physical offensive lines in the NFL, and one of the leagues best blocking fullbacks, the Dolphins were looking to increase on thier physicality during the off-season.

Jake Long is the anchor of the Dolphins physical offensive line.

Based on some of the players that they brought in, it looks to be a success.

The Dolphins signed bruising inside linebacker Karlos Dansby, and traded for physical receiver Brandon Marshall. Not only are those two players some of the best in the league at what they do, but they also are some of the most physical players at their position as well.

To top off the off-season, the Dolphins signed free agent Richie Incognito to compete at guard, and drafted defensive end Jared Odrick, guard John Jerry, safety Reshad Jones, and linebacker Koa Misi, who are all tough as nails players who love to hit people.

While the Jets are going out and signing all of the flashy players this off-season, and making sure everyone knows about it, the Fins are going about their business, trying to stay out of the limelight, and bringing in physical, tough players, to build their football team around.

The Dolphins made sure they shut up the Jets twice last year, after all of the talk that was coming out of the Jets organization.

With all of the flash that the Jets will bring to the field again this year, the Dolphins will bring the grit, and you can take that to the bank.

Despite acquiring Marshall, to strengthen the passing game, the Dolphins will still look to be a run first team, now that Marshall will command double teams, and draw safeties out of the box.

It will be same old, same old for the Fins this year, as they look to take care of business, and not only get back to the playoffs with their physcial style of play, but advance to the Super Bowl, where they can beat up their opponent in front of hundreds of millions of watchers.
