“Night and Day Between Fins and Jets” says JT

Only hours after his brother-in-law, Zach Thomas announced his retirement in a farewell press conference, Jason Taylor had some food for thought as well.

“It is night and day.  Everything here is a little more relaxed, I guess you can say.  There is a whole different vibe in the building.  The practices, walkthroughs and meetings are a little more positive and calm.”

I do not have a problem with the way the Fins run things at all. Sure, at times things can get a little bumpy, but I have respect for the Trifecta because they stick to their system, and do not listen to anyone else on how to run their organization.

As far as JT’s comments go, he made a career out of going after the Jets, not only on the field, but off it as well. He made things personal with the Jets and their fans, and now it looks as if he is about to make the same mistake with the Jets.

If Taylor continues to talk about hsi former team, he can expect some varied fan reactions when he walks back into Miami this year for the first time.

It appears that JT has begun the journey on the way to the dark side. I do not have a problem anymore with Taylor going to the Jets, but I do have a problem when you make comments like that to the media. The verbal jab may have not as been as blunt as it could have been, but it still served its purpose, to get JT more comfortable with Jets fans.
