Dolphins Trade Ted Ginn to 49ers

This afternoon, the Dolphins have traded WR Ted Ginn for a 5th round pick in the upcoming draft.

Ginn struggled as a receiver since being drafted in the 1st round of the 2007 draft. He had a rough past year, dropping 8 passes. He was a decent return man during his time in Miami, and will be fondly remembered for his two kickoff return touchdowns against the Jets this past season (let it be noted that those were Teddy’s only 2 kickoff return touchdowns).

This trade is a win-win for both teams, in my opinion. A 5th round pick is a higher pick than I would expect to get. The niners also needed a return man and a receiver, so in the long run it works out for them too.

I’m torn on weather I’ll miss Ginn or not. The bobbles and dropped passes make me say no, but how can you not miss a guy who single handedly took down our devision foes?
